  How to prepare for a winter storm  Being prepared for a winter storm in Massachusetts can be hard especially when it is your first time. Follow these tips to stay warm.  -Buy clothes. You need to have a very warm jacket, boots, thermal underwear, beanie, scarf. Do not forget your gloves. -Buy Supplies. Keep enough food and water in your home in case you need to stay home for days. Keep board games, movies, books etc. to stay entertained. -Prepare your home.  Prepare your home pipes, check to make sure your heating is working. -Prepare your vehicle Check your tires, heating system, windshield wipers. -Be safe  If you do not need to go outside, stay warm and safe at home.
